Formula: BS ↔ AD = day-by-day mapping through the official Bikram Sambat month-length table · 4 inputs · step-by-step working

Nepal runs on two calendars. Citizenship cards, school certificates, land records and government notices use Bikram Sambat (BS); passports, visas, banks abroad and most software use the Gregorian (AD) calendar. This converter maps any date between 2000 and 2090 BS to its exact AD day and back, using the same published month-length table as our Nepali Age Calculator. There is no fixed offset between the two calendars, because BS months run from 29 to 32 days and change from year to year, so every conversion goes through the table.

    How to Use

Choose which calendar your date is in. For a BS date, pick the year, month (Baisakh to Chaitra) and day; the day list only shows days that exist in that month. For an AD date, pick it from the calendar. The converted date appears straight away, with the weekday and how far it is from today.
